Compliance checks across 12 markets, done automatically

The challenge
A global health and wellness company operates across 12 European markets, each with its own regulatory landscape governing product claims, business opportunity representations and authorised sales channels.
Keeping on top of compliance violations across all of those markets was a significant burden. The compliance team was spending 10 to 12 days of full-time work every month manually scouring social media platforms and online marketplaces, cataloguing violations, and logging flagged cases into NetSuite for action.
The types of violations they were monitoring for included product claims that didn’t meet local regulatory standards, distributors reselling through unauthorised platforms like eBay and Amazon, and improper or exaggerated claims about the business opportunity itself.
The reality was that the team could only cover a fraction of what was actually out there. With limited hours and a growing distributor base across multiple markets, violations were inevitably slipping through the net.
What we did
Inovara built a fully custom compliance monitoring platform powered by AI-augmented workflows. The system continuously scans across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Amazon and eBay, detecting potential violations and automatically flagging them for review.
When a violation is detected, the system doesn’t just raise an alert. It automatically logs the case into NetSuite with the reason for the violation and supporting evidence attached, removing the manual data entry step entirely.
The compliance team now works from a purpose-built dashboard that gives them a centralised view of flagged cases across all 12 markets. Instead of spending their time finding violations, they spend it acting on them.
Key capabilities include:
Automated scanning across six major platforms, running continuously rather than in periodic manual sweeps
AI-powered detection that identifies product claim violations, unauthorised reselling and improper business opportunity claims with high confidence and minimal false positives
Automatic case logging into NetSuite, complete with violation type and evidence, eliminating manual cataloguing
Centralised dashboard giving the compliance team a single view across all European markets
Results
The most immediate change was capacity. What previously consumed 10 to 12 days of the compliance team’s month is now handled automatically, freeing that time for higher-value enforcement and policy work.
But the bigger shift was coverage. When compliance monitoring was fully human-led, the team could only realistically review a fraction of the activity happening across 12 markets and multiple platforms. The AI-augmented system casts a far wider net, monitoring at a scale that simply wasn’t possible before.
Review cycles that once took weeks now resolve in hours. Violations are caught faster, logged faster and acted on faster, which reduces risk and strengthens the company’s regulatory position across every market it operates in.
Why it matters
For direct selling companies operating across multiple markets, compliance isn’t optional and it doesn’t scale well with headcount alone. The more markets you enter, the more platforms your distributors use, and the harder it becomes to maintain consistent oversight.
AI-augmented compliance monitoring changes the equation. It doesn’t replace the compliance team. It gives them the reach and speed to do their job properly across every market, without burning out or letting things slip.
Summary
Automated checks now scan six platforms across 12 European markets, replacing 10 to 12 days of manual review every month.
